Who We Are
Chris Bennett is a photographer, curator and educator living in Dearborn, Michigan with over 20 years of museum, gallery and art handling experience. His past work experience includes the George Eastman Museum, Santa Fe Photographic Workshops and Photo-eye Books & Gallery. He founded and was the Director of Newspace Center for Photography in Portland, Oregon from 2002 to 2012 and served as its Gallery Director from 2012 to 2014. He was the Production Supervisor at Pushdot Studio from 2014 to 2017 and currently runs Image Works Fine Art in Dearborn which specializes in custom fine art printing and artwork reproduction. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and minor in Art History from Indiana University and he received his MFA in Photography from the Hartford Art School’s International Limited Residency Program.
